Rule of Thirds
With a fresh revisit to rule of thirds, I whipped up these beauties.
Rule of Thirds is a way of taking photos that puts the subject in question on the far left or right of the screen. This gives the picture a more dramatic look, and captures more of the background. It helps give emphasis to the subject, as in most pictures, a person's eye looks to the top left first, allowing rule of thirds to help the subject pop out. personally, I prefer my subject to be on the left side of the photo, but the right side works just as well in my opinion.
Sometimes it can be difficult to figure out which side the subject should be on, or what background is appropriate for what the subject is, or is doing at the moment. But most of the time, rule of thirds can come naturally for almost any setting.
