No More PSA

This whole project felt good to do because the cause itself. Because Y'know, I do believe we should make people aware of today's standards of sexual harassment and rape, and to stand up and to stand up and fight back. In terms of the actual photography, I actually had a difficult time trying to come up with phrases for the project, as I was trying my hardest to be original and not ride off another common phrase like, "Bystanding" or something like that. Not to say they are bad phrases, I just wanted to have something different. Other than that the project was fun, it was a good cause, and I enjoyed it. The reason I used the phrase "Hiding" and have it as the first picture, was because I think a lot of rape victims are too scare to come out and tell people what's happened for various different reasons. Saying no more hiding is a sign that victims don't have to be scared anymore. That's why it's my favorite phrase out of the 3. The other 2 phrases, "Unused voices" and "Standing Idle" are supposed to have the same feeling as the "hiding" picture, but didn't really sell it to me, so I have them 2nd and last. But they're still good phrases nonetheless and I think people should take them seriously.
